Meet the teacher Sarah

Corinne Rickenbach

"Sarah McCormick taught two of my children in 4th grade and they both absolutely loved her. She helped them feel comfortable, confident, and loved. She knew how to manage a lot of kids with joy and compassion plus loads of fun. I loved how she wove music into their education. She taught them all several songs and had all the parents come in and watch them perform for us and I’ll never forget standing there with a bunch of grown ups literally crying because it was so sweet. I was embarrassed for myself but so happy to have been able to witness their joy with her and the music! There was so much love and happiness with her and those tiny people. My heart burst with gratitude that my children were privileged enough to have her as their teacher. She made them feel capable and confident and they knew she loved them. We will never forget her. My kids are now adults and still talk about her as their teacher. Thank you Sarah for your devotion to childhood development! 💛"
